It has been a long 22 years for the New York Rangers, New York Islanders, and New Jersey Devils. In 2003, the Devils won their third Stanley Cup in franchise history when they defeated the Anaheim Ducks in seven games. Since that season, no team in the New York tri-state area has won hockey's Holy Grail.
